DEVELOPMENTAL FUND
DANA MUDAHCARA MySTI
INTRODUCTION
Dana Mudahcara MySTI is an initiative designed to support Malaysian start-ups and SMEs that have developed their own technologies and conducted research and development (R&D) in securing Government procurement opportunities. Through this initiative, companies receive financial capital to help cover production costs for their products or services throughout the project period, ensuring their readiness for Government use.
BASIC ELIGIBILITY
- The company must be incorporated under the Companies Act 2016.
- At least 51% Malaysian-owned.
- Must have received MySTI logo certification and be registered with MOF’s ePerolehan.
- Eligible to participate in Government procurement and/or have received an offer to produce products or services for the Government.
PROCESSING AND MONITORING FEE
- Applicants are not charged a processing fee.
Funding Quantum
- 70% of the project cost or RM500,000 in grant funding, whichever is lower.
Funding Period
- The project duration ranges from three (3) to twelve (12) months, concluding once the Government procurement activity is completed.
Funding Instrument
- The funding is provided as a grant but may be considered for conversion into preference shares upon completion of the project tenure.
SCOPE OF FUNDING
- Product Registration & Regulatory Compliance – Based on the requirements of the respective Ministry.
- Capital Expenditures – Purchase of machinery and equipment.
- Production Costs – Procurement of raw materials.
- Intellectual Property – Related expenses for protection and management.
- Outsourcing Costs – Expenses for external services or expertise.
- Product/Service Upgrades – Costs associated with improvements and enhancements.
